Exemption for AI Tools in Data Processing

While the District maintains a general prohibition on the use of Artificial Intelligence with
Confidential or Protected Data, pursuant to Policy 3750 4.1, the following exemptions
are granted, provided all conditions are met.

1.  General Requirements

Before utilizing any tool listed in the exemption table, users must:
     •  Verify the specific Permitted Data Sets for that tool.
     •. Ensure all Conditions for Use are strictly followed.

3. Compliance and Enforcement

Failure to adhere to the conditions outlined in this procedure—or the use of
non-exempted AI tools with Protected Data—is a violation of Policy 3750 and may result
in disciplinary action.
