A099 - Non-graduating Seniors
Administrative Letter #99 Non-graduating Seniors - Approved 12/28/2014
DATE: February 28, 2014
SUBJECT: Non-graduating Seniors
Throughout a student’s educational experience, plans are developed by school counselors to assist students in charting a course for graduation. Unfortunately, some students do not graduate with their class, oftentimes lacking the necessary credits required by the State of Utah to receive a high school diploma.
Beginning immediately, if a student does not graduate with their graduating class, the student will have until September 30th of that year to complete the required credits in order to receive a diploma from the school he/she attended. If a student completes the necessary requirements to receive a diploma after September 30th, they will receive a Washington County School District diploma.
